Who’s behind it?

Hi, I’m Loz. Fat As Funk Audio is the software side of Fat As Funk Mastering, & every product is designed from the ground up by me, after a lifetime of making music, mixing & mastering.

• Making music since 1995.
• Mastering as Fat As Funk since 2006.
• Trailer music produced, mixed & mastered by me for Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett & Nine Perfect Strangers.
• Around 18,000 masters delivered over the years (I lost count a while back).
• Earlier trailer credits include Logan & Alien: Covenant.

Why make software?

The aim is simple: bring major innovation to the crowded audio software space.

Not “just another plugin” software either. Tools you’ll love using, that let you do things with sound you never thought possible.

All our products will have a free, stripped-down version that’s genuinely useful, with pro & ultimate versions where the secret, innovative & juicy bits are kept.

The studio

I carry on mixing & mastering every day, because daily studio work is what holds our edge & helps us refine our software.

All the work happens in a custom-built, carefully acoustically treated & calibrated room, using top-grade analogue mastering hardware alongside carefully chosen software (mostly our own these days!).

A new chapter: Fat As Funk Audio Ltd.

In October 2026 Fat As Funk Audio Ltd. was born, to reflect our new venture as a software company releasing next-level innovative audio plugins & standalone software. We’re super-excited about it.

Fat As Funk is a proudly independent family business, & that doesn’t change. When you buy from us, your money goes to a family business, not to faceless shareholders.
